This exciting, newly created position offers an experienced brand practitioner the opportunity to work for a fast growing, disruptive global brand where you will be reporting directly to the CEO.

In a fast-paced role where no two days will rarely be the same, you will be responsible for developing the strategic and tactical brand plan, for implementing the tactical plan and coordinating the efforts of those parties that provide creative services to the business – ensuring they deliver on time, on budget and to the required standard.

GLOBAL BRAND MANAGER

You will be responsible for developing and delivering training to brand stakeholders and creating marketing assets for deployment through many channels for resellers, users and distributors.

You will be the ultimate custodian of the brand, responsible for growing and maintaining it, and ensuring it is represented accurately on an international basis.

Responsibilities in more detail

Working with the CEO and with the support of your peers, assuming responsibility for developing the strategic annual brand plan including the brand mission statement.

Upon approval of the strategic plan, developing the tactical brand plan including budgets, channels, audiences, assets and desired outcomes.

Collaborating with company stakeholders – distributors in 45+ countries ensuring each one understands the brand values and the framework in which they must operate to represent it accurately to their local audiences.

Developing brand training modules for delivery through online channels to several distinct audiences from distributors to resellers, users, agencies, and freelance team members.

Developing assets for external stakeholders such as stockists and users with the remit of deepening their understanding of the brand and its products.

Developing a multi-faceted audit process to ensure ongoing accuracy of brand representation through all channels and with all audiences.

Coordinating the tasks of all external agencies to ensure projects operate to Lean Principles – right first time, on time, every time.

Ensuring that all projects are executed within agreed budgets and there is no duplication of efforts.

Ensure effective distribution of existing brand assets, for example, the organisation’s annual flagship publication.

Representing the brand at external events and coordinating all assets created for these events.

Working with the global brand ambassador to ensure they meet the agreed criteria for their position and they are able to fulfil the duties required of them.

Custodian of the brand identity; maintaining and updating the global brand guidelines and managing the global brand assets library.

About you

Experience and personal skills

You will have several years’ experience working at a senior level within a creative agency and/or a business that sells products/services to other businesses.

You will be fully understanding of the principles of B2B branding and how these principles are applied in the business environment at a strategic and a tactical level.

You will have experience managing teams and will be able to demonstrate through projects and tasks how you have reached goals through motivating and inspiring people.

You will be experienced at collaborating with external suppliers such as designers, videographers, and copywriters.

You will have assumed some responsibilities for budget management and will be able to demonstrate how you have managed projects within budget.

You will have excellent communication skills both verbally and written and will be able to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.

You will have robust project management skills and will be able to demonstrate team building skills and team building experience.

You will be able to demonstrate through past and present projects the ability to create assets for internal and external use.

You will thrive on working with people and organisations where for some projects you are the project leader, at other times a vital contributor.

You will understand the importance of building positive and mutually beneficial relationships with resellers and will be able to demonstrate this with your experience.

Travelling

You will be required from time to time to travel internationally representing the brand.

Qualification

You should hold a recognised marketing qualification.

Fluency

Fluency in English – verbal and written is a must
